The big world of dance shrunken down to the dimensions of a table top and a few objects. This project works its way from time zone to time zone and zaps through an eclectic dance collection.

Imagine seeing all the dance performances that take place all over the world in one evening. What happens in Mumbai, Belfast or Geborone when the sun sets behind the Alster? All this you can find out in just a few hours! The big world shrinks to the dimensions of a tabletop and a collection of ordinary everyday objects. Pepper and salt shakers are transformed into princes and swans, a company of festive napkins forms the dance ensemble of the Wuppertal Dance Theater, and a few colourful envelopes are all it takes for Russian Cossack dances from Lipetsk. From time zone to time zone, across continents, the TANZATLAS surfs on a flood of information that is far too much to drink.
