Approximates

Approximates was created in 2013 while Edda Sickinger was still studying at Hamburg University. The task-based choreography makes proximity and touch a social issue as the performers are clinging together, pushing, pulling and moving forwards, each leading and following at a time, mingling from one pattern to another, creating new shapes and experiencing the (un)comfortability of space.
