A digital performance for people aged 6 and up by Die Neue Kompanie

Imagine opening up an alphabet of monsters and meeting the 26 scariest creatures of horror this world has ever brought forth. From A to Z, from scary creatures to scary creatures, from city to city, from one continent to another, fantastic creatures and landscapes are created from the most ordinary things. Whisks and corkscrews turn into monsters and giants. A spray bottle is all it takes to re-enact a fire-breathing dragon rising from the Argentinean jungles of broccoli. In 26 short stop-motion videos GRUSEL GRUSEL explores the world of fear and takes us on a journey into the fantastical cosmos of things.
